I think you should keep the blogs because they are so much better than writing in a journal. They can be interesting and you can definitely learn more about your classmates by reading their posts. One thing I think you should change are the topics. I think you should chose more personal topics because they are easier to write about and a lot more interesting.

Bullying/Cyberbulling
How can bullying be stopped?
Bullying can be stopped if there are severe punishments like jail and major fines.
What can TEACHERS do to stop bullying?
Teachers cannot stop it completely, but they can help prevent it by watching the students around the school.
What can PARENTS do to stop bullying?
Parents can help by reporting it to the school so principals, teachers, etc can investigate the situation and stop the bullying.
What can STUDENTS do to stop bullying?
If students see someone getting bullied, they should help defend that person.
Your thoughts on CYBERBULLYING? What should the punishment be for those who cyberbully others?
Cyberbulling is, in my opinion, the worst form of bullying because you never know who is saying terrible things to you. The punishment for cyberbullying should be jail because the cyberbully should be put in a place where they can feel guilty for what they did.
One thing I will never forget about being a teenager..
One thing I will never forget about being a teenager is how I stay on the computer for hours and I do absolutely anything I want on it. I know this is a really dumb thing to remember about my teenage years, but this is pretty much all I do now a days because I have no life. Just joking by the way. But all adults say are, “you’re always on the computer!” or “get off of the computer! you’ve been on for like 20304702740745 hours.” I know most adults did not have the technology that we have now, but I feel like society back then was better and people understood feelings and emotions better. Nowadays, people can express feelings and emotions through the internet, like on tumblr. A picture is truly worth a thousand words and on tumblr, reblogging a photo can say so much and people who see that photo will understand what you are feeling on the inside. I am aware that adults cannot forget about how much they used the computer when they were a teenager, but I was just trying to say that they do not understand why some teens, like me, stay on the computer so much.
Childhood Memory
I don’t really remember any great parts of my childhood, but i do remember when i broke my arm when i was about 5 or 6 years old. My family and I were at my aunts house on Thanksgiving day. Or was it Christmas Day? I don’t remember. But anyways, this is what happened. My brother and I were playing and I was chasing him around the house for a baby blue elephant. He ran up the stairs and I finally caught him when he made it to the top of the stairs. We were both pulling on the elephant and he let go and I tumbled down the stairs and landed on my right arm. I went to my mom crying and I didn’t know what was going on until my aunt pointed out that my arm was broken. I went to the hospital and the only thing I remember was laying down eating candy, then waking up the next day in bed.
A Perfect Dinner
If i could invite any 3 people to dinner it would have to be my 7th and 8th grade reading teacher Ms.Byron, who passed away last year from cancer, and my two friends Esther and Diana. I would invite Ms.Byron because she is the best teacher ever, and i know i sound like a little kid when i say that, but she really is the best teacher ever. She always inspired me and others to always keep our heads up high and never let anyone put us down. She was also the one that always said “Hey! Your lucky your handsome or pretty”, and it made everyone feel so much better on the inside. This amazing person is gone now, but she will never be forgotten. I would invite my friends Esther and Diana because we used to be “The three best friends that anyone could have.” I met Esther in the beginning of 7th grade. I’m so glad that the teacher put us right next to each other. We became friends instantly and soon became best friends. Then after the first semester, Diana moved to our school. At first we didn’t really like her, but then she was put into my language arts class and we slowly became friends. Then the school year went by and the next thing you know its 8th grade. We all became so close, we were like the three musketeers. We were even in the same homeroom and in the same reading class with Ms.Byron of coarse. We talked to Ms.Byron about everything. She was pretty much like our mentor. So if we did have dinner it would go very well because it wouldn’t be awkward because we all already know each other. The menu would be something fancy and nice, like steak or lobster, because we all deserve something nice once in a while.
Gas Prices/Oil Shortages
I think the biggest problem facing our generation are gas prices and oil shortages. People are spending much of their money all on gas since the prices have gone up so much. Gas prices are getting higher because soon gas will run out because it is a nonrenewable resource. The prices are now around $3.75 per gallon and will rise to around $4 or more in the spring. Also in a couple of years the prices will be 6 to 7 dollars per gallon.
Some tactics that have been used in the past are digging other places to find oil, trying to make a more oil efficient engine, and making cars that run not only on oil, but on electricity too. Car companies like Hyundai, Toyota, and many more have hybrid cars and Toyota even has a car you plug in to the wall. These companies have succeeded because they have created a car that is better for our environment. I think if car companies invest more money on an efficient engine that uses gas 100% then spending all that money on gas would be more worth it.
I would want car companies to invest more money and time to build a more efficient engine. I think it would be a good idea to make engines more efficient so people would not have to spend so much money on gas, it would cause less pollution, and be safer for our environment. Vehicles with low efficiencies are one of the main reasons for air pollution which causes global warming. Im not sure how much money i will need, but i would get the money from taxes. In the long run it would be better for our economy because if a company does find a way to make a more efficient engine then other countries would want to invest in this technology.
I think this idea could be successful, but it would take some time. Also i think this idea would help the U.S. because there are so many benefits. Like cheaper gas, more money for the country, more mileage for a vehicle, and it would be better for you environment. Gas would be cheaper because we are using it more efficiently . There would be more money for our country because other countries would want to invest in something that has many benefits to it. More mileage would be important because people would be able to drive around longer without wasting too much gas. Lastly, the environment would be better because we are not causing as much air pollution as we do now.

Technology
Technology at school is not very great. It’s not horrible, but it could be better. Teachers have nice projectors and smart boards which are pretty neat to have in class. Students have computer and laptop privileges, but they are all so slow and some are in poor quality. I think schools should update on their technology so students can be more interested in learning. Like an iPad. Who wouldn’t want to have a device they can interact and learn with at their desk? An iPad would be an easier load to carry because it carries information on textbooks and more. So I think if the school brought in iPads for every student, then technology at school would be more up to date.
